Swissquote clients can now buy, sell and transfer their USDC easily to their Swissquote accounts and take advantage of the opportunities offered by the second leading Stablecoin, all with the security of a Swiss bank.

USD Coin (USDC) is a fiat-backed stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US dollar. Operating on the Ethereum blockchain, it is designed to enable fast and low-cost transactions.

Thanks to its stability and interoperability with other blockchain-based assets, it has gained widespread adoption on cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets. It has also been integrated into a variety of mainstream financial applications.

The stablecoin is run by Centre Consortium, which operates transparently and discloses precise data on its assets and liabilities.
