    Delistings like this are a good reminder that exchange risk is not only about security. Liquidity, supported pairs, bots, margin positions and copy trading portfolios can all change quickly when a platform reviews assets.

    For traders, the safest habit is to monitor announcements and avoid keeping small-cap positions unattended on any one exchange. I use BYDFi for some BTC/ETH trading, but even there I would still test withdrawals, keep records, and avoid assuming that every listed asset will stay available forever.

    The ICX, SCRT and STORJ timeline also shows why users should close or adjust positions before automatic settlement, instead of waiting until the last minute.
