easyMarkets adds crypto account funding
Cyprus based Retail FX and CFDs broker easyMarkets has announced that its clients can now deposit and withdraw in six different cryptocurrencies.
However the company said that this crypto funding option is available only to its “international clients” – European and Australian clients are excluded.
The six digital currencies added to its deposit methods are:
✓ Bitcoin
✓ Ethereum
✓ Bitcoin Cash
✓ Tether (ERC20)
✓ Tether (TRC20)
✓ Litecoin
Funding an easyMarkets account with one of the listed cryptocurrencies above is similar to other funding methods.
O Create an easyMarkets account and login
O Click on the ‘Deposit Funds’ button in the top right corner of your screen
O Select your desired cryptocurrency
O Send your cryptocurrency funds to the provided wallet address by scanning the QR code
O The funds will be credited to your account in as quickly as possible
easyMarkets noted that when you send a crypto asset, the company will instantly convert that sum into the corresponding amount of fiat currency, and then send this fiat currency to your account for you to trade all of its 200+ instruments.
CMO Ohad Golan said about the new cryptocurrency funding methods:
“We are delighted to now allow our clients to deposit and withdraw their cryptocurrency funds. Cryptocurrencies have seen immense growth recently, and we’re excited to enable traders to partake in its future growth over the coming years. Alongside these new crypto funding offerings, we also have our μBTC account, which allows our clients to trade in Bitcoin, with no fiat exchange required. This means it’s now possible to either deposit crypto and trade in fiat currency, or deposit Bitcoin and trade exclusively with Bitcoin. Both of these new funding options, we believe, will help provide more freedom and choice when trading with easyMarkets.”
easyMarkets is licensed by multiple regulatory bodies around the world, including CySEC, ASIC, FSA, and FSC (although, as noted above, the crypto funding option is not available to the CySEC and ASIC regulated entity clients).
