eToro extends zero commission stocks offering for ASIC registered clients
Online trading company eToro has shared a nice bit of news for ASIC registered clients. eToro’s zero commission stocks offering has now been extended to include stocks from many of the leading exchanges.
Traders who invest in the underlying asset can also now do so in stocks listed on the NASDAQ and NYSE as well as a number of major (European) exchanges with 0% commission. In Europe, these include the following exchanges: Amsterdam; Brussels; Frankfurt; Lisbon: London; Madrid; Paris; Stockholm; and Zurich.
This update includes ETFs, meaning all ETFs offered on eToro will now also incur 0% commission on the same terms.
eToro notes that leveraged positions, short (SELL) positions, and positions on stocks traded on exchanges not specified in the list above, will be executed as CFDs and will, therefore, incur a commission and other relevant fees.
Zero-commission means that no broker fee will be charged when opening or closing the position and does not apply to short or leveraged positions. Other fees apply including FX fees on non-USD deposits and withdrawals.
