Wolverhampton FC extend FX partnership with Neo
EFL Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers FC has announced that it has extended its partnership with Neo as the club’s Official Foreign Currency Exchange Partner for the 2026/27 season. Neo and the Wolves first began their partnership in 2024.
The renewed partnership will see Neo continue to support the Wolves, providing foreign exchange and international payment services to support the club’s day-to-day financial operations.
Dave Thomson, Wolves’ Head of Partnerships, said,
“Neo provides a service that directly supports the club’s operations, allowing key club functions to operate easily and efficiently, and our working relationship has continued to go from strength to strength.
“We’re looking forward to further building on this strong relationship throughout the 2026/27 season.”
Adam Beevers, finance manager at Wolves, said,
“Neo has become a valuable partner to the club, particularly when managing the international payments and foreign exchange requirements that come with operating in football.
“The recent transfer window is a good example of that. Having access to NEO’s expertise and platform has supported our finance team in managing international transactions efficiently during one of the busiest periods of the year for the club.”
Laurent Descout, CEO and co-founder of Neo, added,
“This is a very special partnership between two organisations united by a fighting spirit and the ambition to deliver outstanding results. As Wolves approach 150 years and Neo celebrates its 10th anniversary, we’re proud to stand with the Club for a third season and committed to bringing smarter FX and cross-border payments to professional sport.”
Neo have become a one-stop-shop for businesses across the globe, working with more than 300 corporates across 25+ countries and more than €20 billion cleared through to its Bank Identification Code (BIC) on the SWIFT network.
