Stripe appoints Eileen O’Mara as its vice chair, Tyler Bryson as chief revenue officer
Programmable financial services company Stripe today announced that Eileen O’Mara has been named vice chair, with Tyler Bryson becoming Stripe’s chief revenue officer.
Eileen O’Mara brings more than 25 years of leadership experience from across the global technology sector, including at Salesforce and Oracle. Most recently, she helped build Stripe’s global revenue organization from the ground up and served as chief revenue officer in a period when Stripe’s annual payment volume nearly doubled to $1.9 trillion, working closely with companies from high-growth startups to Fortune 25 enterprises.
“Eileen knows our customers and what’s at stake for them better than almost anyone,” said Patrick Collison, cofounder and CEO of Stripe. “Tooling and infrastructure are necessary conditions for economic growth, but progress is also contingent on policy, culture, and partnerships. Eileen’s leadership will help advance this conviction on behalf of Stripe and our customers.”
“Eileen deeply appreciates what it takes to empower local commerce and has been a hands-on partner to DoorDash in helping advance that mission over the last several years,” said Ravi Inukonda, chief financial officer at DoorDash. “Her operational know-how and empathy for end customers will make her an invaluable advocate for entrepreneurs and innovators as she takes on this new role.”
“We’ve worked closely with Eileen and her team as we’ve grown our partnership with Stripe, enabling merchants big and small across the US, UK, and Canada,” said Wayne Pommen, chief revenue officer at Affirm. “She’s an outstanding partner, with a relentless focus on driving results for merchants and their customers. We are delighted to continue working with her in her new role.”
“Stripe has been a great partner to ElevenLabs as we’ve scaled to serve millions of businesses, developers, and consumers around the world in just three years,” said Maciej Mylik, finance lead at ElevenLabs. “We’re delighted that Eileen will help to advance the conditions that make it easier to build new technologies and companies.”
“Lovable went from launch to a global business almost overnight, and we needed partners who understood the complexity we would encounter,” said Elena Verna, head of growth at Lovable. “Eileen has been one of those partners for us, and her new role will allow her to share that expertise even more broadly.”
Tyler Bryson, who is taking on the role of chief revenue officer, joined Stripe in 2025 to lead the Americas Revenue and Global Solutions teams. Prior to Stripe he spent over two decades at Microsoft in senior leadership roles contributing to the strategies and execution that helped the company grow its revenue more than tenfold.
