Standard Chartered has announced some changes within its Group Management Team.

In May this year, Tanuj Kapilashrami was appointed Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO), strengthening our ability to drive strategic alignment across our functions.

From 1 October, in addition to the functions previously within Strategy & Talent, Tanuj Kapilashrami will also lead SC’s non-client-facing operations, including payments and transaction processing, trade operations, and reconciliation services, as well as Group Resilience, and Global Business Services.

Noelle Eder will continue to lead SC’s technology teams as Group Head, Technology. This evolution is set to enable greater focus and capacity for Noelle and the Technology team to further accelerate SC’s technology agenda in support of its businesses and enabling innovation.
