Exclusive: Pepperstone CCO (and ex COO) Rob Bowen departs
FNG Exclusive… Some more changes are afoot at leading Australia based online broker Pepperstone.
Just days after we reported that Pepperstone had hired Nigel Fernandes as its new CTO, FNG has learned that another C-Suite executive at the company, Rob Bowen, has departed.
Rob Bowen had been with Pepperstone since 2020, based in London, serving initially as Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) as well as CEO of the company’s FCA licensed arm Pepperstone UK. Last year Rob transitioned to the role of Group Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), amid some other management changes at the company.
Prior to his time at Pepperstone, Rob spent 10 years at UK online broker IG Group (LON:IGG), ending his tenure as Commercial Director at IG.
FNG received the following official statement from a company spokesperson.
“Rob Bowen will leave Pepperstone after seven years with the business. During his tenure as Chief Commercial Officer Rob has played an important role in the company’s growth, strengthening commercial capabilities, expanding our global footprint, and supporting the development of high performing teams across multiple regions. We thank him for his significant contribution and wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.”
FNG also spoke with Rob Bowen, who said,
“After seven incredible years, I’m proud to be leaving Pepperstone as a global leader in the online trading space. When I joined, Pepperstone was a largely Australia-centric business with no proprietary technology. Today the company delivers record revenues and a premium service trusted by clients globally. I’m grateful to the brilliant colleagues who made this journey so rewarding, and I leave as a big supporter from the sidelines.”
