Tokyo Stock Exchange’s CONNEQTOR starts accepting applications for production use
Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) has been developing RFQ (Request for Quote) functions and CONNEQTOR with the aim of improving ETFs liquidity. TSE announces that applications for the production use of CONNEQTOR will be accepted as of today.
Institutional investors can use CONNEQTOR by following the following three steps: (1) User registration (obtaining a CONNEQTOR ID), (2) registration of brokerage firms, and (3) registration for the live use of CONNEQTOR. The application form can be downloaded from the website, or you can request a mailing.
CONNEQTOR is scheduled to come into operation in December 20202. If you wish to use CONNEQTOR from the first day of operation, you need to take steps by November 11, 2020.
The following securities companies are scheduled to provide services to investors from the first day of operations: SMBC Nikko Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs Japan Co.,Ltd., JPMorgan Securities Japan Co.,Ltd., Daiwa Securities Co. Ltd., Nomura Securities Co.,Ltd. and Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities.
Institutional investors will be able to select a brokerage firm of their choice by asking the brokerage firm to determine the brokerage firm and account information.
