The FCA’s decision to ban Jes Staley, former CEO of Barclays, has been upheld by the Upper Tribunal.
Jes Staley approved a letter sent to the FCA containing misleading statements about the nature of his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Stephen Dainton will become Co-Head of Global Markets – Distribution at Barclays, alongside Adeel Khan as Co-Head of Global Markets – Trading.
The change is due to conclusions of the investigation into Jes Staley’s characterisation to Barclays of his relationship with the late Jeffrey Epstein.
