New Zealand’s FMA has lifted the suspension on the derivatives issuer licence of AxiCorp Financial Services Pty Limited.
During fiscal 2021, the group rebranded its main operating brand from AxiTrader to Axi.
Axi must appoint an independent expert to conduct a review and assess whether it has adequate procedures and internal controls in place.
In early 2020 ASIC announced that it was going to suspend AxiCorp’s AFS license for four months, but a stay was granted.
Coinciding with the rebrand and new Axi name is the launch of what the company calls Axi Select, an incubation program.
