Dukascopy warns about another fraudulent clone of its website
Dukascopy Bank SA today issued a warning about its website’s fraudulent clone operating via https://dukascopy1.com/.
Dukascopy notes that the webpage of the clone is not controlled and does not belong to Dukascopy Bank, Dukascopy Europe, Dukascopy Japan or any other entity of Dukascopy Group.
The public is advised not to trust any information to be found on the website https://dukascopy1.com/ and not to provide any personal data on this website.
Dukascopy says it is taking action against this fraudulent webpage.
Let’s note that clones are entities that abuse the credentials (address, name, logo, etc) of authorized businesses in order to lure victims and defraud them more easily. In fact, the clone entities have nothing to do with the authorized entities.
This is not the first time Dukascopy has been targeted by the so-called clone firms. In January 2023, for instance, Dukascopy cautioned the public against dealing with a fraudulent entity that operates via the domain https://apps.xfenfa.cn/WG6r.
In November 2022, Dukascopy issued a warning about its website’s fraudulent clone operating via the domain https://dukascopyd.swisbank.vip/c.
