Dukascopy issues warning about fraudulent clone
Dukascopy Bank SA has issued a warning about its website’s fraudulent clone. The fraudulent entity operates via the domain https://apps.xfenfa.cn/WG6r.
Let’s note that clones are entities that abuse the credentials (address, name, logo, etc) of authorized businesses in order to lure victims and defraud them more easily. In fact, the clone entities have nothing to do with the authorized entities.
Dukascopy warns that the fraudulent app is not controlled and does not belong to Dukascopy Bank, Dukascopy Europe, Dukascopy Japan or any other entity of Dukascopy Group.
The public is advised not to trust any information to be found on the app https://apps.xfenfa.cn/WG6r. Do not provide any personal data to this application.
Dukascopy says it is taking action against this fraudulent app.
This is not the first time Dukascopy has been targeted by the so-called clone firms. In November 2022, for instance, Dukascopy issued a warning about its website’s fraudulent clone operating via the domain https://dukascopyd.swisbank.vip/c.
In October 2022, Dukascopy warned of a fraudulent company named Dukascopy Bank SA of Kazakhstan LLC based and is operating in Kazakhstan. The clone pretends to act on behalf of Dukascopy Bank as part of its group but it is not controlled and does not belong to Dukascopy Bank, Dukascopy Europe, Dukascopy Japan or any other entity of Dukascopy Group.
