Dukascopy Bank launches AI-powered trading through chat assistants
Dukascopy Bank has announced the launch of AI-powered trading through chat assistants, becoming one of the first Swiss banks to enable clients to interact with their trading accounts using AI.
Powered by Dukascopy’s new Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, the integration allows clients to connect AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude directly to their JForex trading accounts. Traders can execute trades, manage positions, analyze markets, and monitor risk by interacting with their preferred AI assistant.
The result is a new way to trade — without traditional terminals, manual coding, or complex menu navigation.
“Technology has always been at the core of Dukascopy’s DNA,” said Andre Duka, CEO of Dukascopy Bank. “For two decades, we have invested in building advanced trading infrastructure. Today, we are taking the next step by making that infrastructure accessible through AI.”
With the new integration, traders can instruct their AI assistant in natural language to:
- place market or pending orders
- analyze instruments
- calculate stop-loss and take-profit levels
- check account exposure.
The integration goes beyond market commentary. Requests such as “Close half of my gold position” are executed through the connected AI assistant.
Connected AI assistants gain secure access to account information, trading operations, and order management, enabling end-to-end workflows such as proportional position opening and combined market analysis across instruments.
The service is powered by the MCP, an emerging open standard that enables AI assistants to securely interact with external applications and services.
The connection process takes only a few minutes and does not require programming knowledge. User passwords remain protected and are never shared with the AI assistant.
By adopting an open standard, Dukascopy allows clients to use the AI tools they already prefer, while maintaining the security and reliability expected from a Swiss financial institution.
The AI trading integration is available immediately for JForex demo accounts, allowing traders to explore the full functionality in a risk-free environment using virtual funds. Support for live trading accounts is planned for summer–autumn 2026, bringing the same workflow to real-market trading.
