IBKR Connector enables running of saved screeners through AI
Electronic trading major Interactive Brokers has rolled out version 1.2.0 of IBKR Connector.
The solution enables its users to find and run the screeners they have saved directly from their connected AI platform, without switching applications. Simply ask your AI assistant to pull up a saved screener by name, and it will show you the parameters it runs with and return the results right in the chat interface.
Screener results return as a ranked list showing each stock’s rank, ticker symbol, and company name (for example, 1. NVDA, Nvidia Inc). You’ll see the top 10 matches by default, and you can ask for more, up to 50 at a time.
Every scanner result includes a deep link into Client Portal, where you can view the complete output with all underlying data points.
The IBKR Connector will soon enable its users to build and manage Screeners with AI. Users will be able to describe what they are looking for, and AI will build the screener for them. Save it, refine it, or remove it anytime, so your screeners always reflect your current strategy.
Interactive Brokers regularly enhances the IBKR Connector (MCP). Interactive Brokers’ clients can now connect their IBKR account to any AI application that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP). In addition to the official IBKR connectors available on ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok, this allows traders to use their IBKR account with a wide range of AI tools, including Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT Workspaces, and more.
