TradeStation integrates with options trading platform QuantWheel
TradeStation Securities, Inc today announced an integration with QuantWheel, an options trading platform for directional and income-focused traders.
Through the integration, TradeStation clients can analyze opportunities, trade, and track positions without leaving QuantWheel.
Directional traders can review dealer positioning and live options flow, then find calls, puts, and spreads, while income-focused traders can screen for cash-secured puts, covered calls, and credit spreads and see which positions are near assignment. Orders the trader approves go directly to TradeStation for execution, with spreads and poor man’s covered calls (PMCCs) sent as a single order, and positions sync to QuantWheel’s options journal.
“Options traders often move between separate tools to analyze the market, identify a trade, place an order, and manage the resulting position,” said John Bartleman, President and Chief Executive Officer of TradeStation Securities’ parent company, TradeStation Group, Inc. “Our integration with QuantWheel creates a more connected experience, giving TradeStation clients another way to move from analysis to execution while maintaining control over every order they place.”
QuantWheel also offers QW Intelligence, an AI assistant that uses a trader’s positions and cost basis to answer portfolio-related questions and perform recurring checks. The platform supports Model Context Protocol (MCP) and API connectivity with external AI tools and workflows.
“Working with the TradeStation team has been a great experience from day one,” said Ivan Orehovec, co-founder of QuantWheel. “A qualifying TradeStation client can now get our full Quant plan at no cost and pay $0 per contract on non-index options placed through QuantWheel.”
“What we want to bring to options traders through this collaboration with TradeStation is simplicity and innovation,” said Luka Knezic, co-founder of QuantWheel. “Our goal is to make it easier to move from understanding the market to finding a trade, placing the order, and managing the position in one workflow.”
