Barclays today announced the appointment of Ramin Naji as Managing Director and Head of Healthcare & Real Estate, Asia Pacific.

Mr Naji will be responsible for leading Barclays’ healthcare & real estate sectors across the region, driving client engagement, transaction origination and execution. Working closely with global product and coverage teams across the bank, he will support clients across advisory, financing and risk management solutions.

Based in Hong Kong, Ramin Naji will report regionally to Avinash Thakur, Head of Investment Banking, Asia Pacific, and functionally to Richard Landgarten, Global Head of Healthcare & Real Estate Groups.

Ramin Naji most recently served as Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Asia Pacific at Deutsche Bank. Prior to this, he held investment banking roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and worked in principal investing and advisory positions in Tokyo and Hong Kong. He brings more than two decades of experience across healthcare, corporate finance, M&A, and capital markets.
