eToro sponsors 2020 Tri Nations Rugby
Social trading focused Retail FX and CFDs broker eToro has announced it is Rugby Australia’s Presenting Partner for the 2020 Tri Nations. The eToro Tri Nations replaces the annual Rugby Championship following the recent withdrawal of South Africa.
The 2020 eToro Tri Nations kicks off this Saturday 31 October at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.
This certainly isn’t eToro’s first foray into sports sponsorship and marketing. We reported exclusively back in August that eToro had inked a deal to become the sleeve sponsor of AS Monaco, which plays in France’s Ligue 1. Overall eToro boasts an extensive global sponsorship portfolio including six English Premier League clubs and six Bundesliga clubs in Germany, as well as top ten ranked tennis player Gael Monfils.
This move seems to indicate a planned increased presence for eToro in the greater Australasia region. The broker has regulated operations in Cyprus, the UK, and Australia. The Australia online trading sector recently came into focus as regulator ASIC announced plans to introduce CFD leverage cuts and other restrictive conditions, to come into effect in March 2021.
eToro claims to have over fifteen million registered users globally and enables people to invest in the assets they want, from stocks, commodities and currencies. The platform not only allows traders to choose what you invest in, but also how they invest. Traders can trade themselves, copy another investor, or invest in a portfolio.

The eToro logo will feature on all official branding for the upcoming Tri Nations Series as well as back right of shorts on the Wallaby kit.
