HK regulator extends swift licensing process to new virtual asset trading platform applicants

All new virtual asset trading platform (VATP) applicants in Hong Kong can now seek licences under its swift licensing process.

The SFC of Hong Kong reminds the public about the end of the non-contravention period for virtual asset trading platforms (VATPs).

At the same time, investors are urged to check the regulatory status of VATPs on the Lists of virtual asset trading platforms.

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong published today several lists of virtual asset trading platforms (VATPs) on its website.
