LME Group announces plan to strengthen its markets

LME Group today announced a two-year programme of change to strengthen and enhance its markets.

The FCA intends to review the LME’s approach to managing the suspension and resumption of the market in nickel.

The LME has decided to suspend Nickel trading on LMEselect while the system error is investigated.

LME sets firm daily price limits for Nickel outrights and reconfirms the daily price limits that will be applied to all other base metal outrights.
