Rakuten Securities to add commodity CFDs to offering
Japanese Forex and CFD broker Rakuten Securities will enlarge its CFD lineup from mid-May 2021. The company will add commodity CFDs to its offering, effective May 17, 2021.
The first commodity CFDs to join the lineup of trading instruments available to Rakuten Securities clients are CFDs on Gold and Silver. The company plans to introduce CFDs on crude oil too, but the date of the launch is undecided yet.
Clients of Rakuten Securities will be able to trade commodity CFDs on the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform. The leverage will be 20x.
Let’s recall that, earlier this year, the brokerage introduced trading in CFDs based on stock indices.
Let’s note that Rakuten Securities has been regularly growing its offering. In February, the company announced the addition of 32 new stocks to its lineup of trading instruments. Those additions include Bumble (BMBL) and Signify Health (SGFY). The company also introduced dozens of the stocks of listed companies in response to requests made by traders.
Other recent additions to Rakuten Securities’ offering include Coinbase shares.
