OANDA Japan Inc, a subsidiary of online broker OANDA Corporation, today published a notice of the termination of MT4 and MT5 “Web Terminal”.

The brokerage will be discontinuing its “MetaTrader 4 (MT4)” and “MetaTrader 5 (MT5)” Web Terminal (web browser version) services on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

After the service termination, OANDA Japan clients will no longer be able to log in via the Web Terminal. If traders wish to continue trading with MT4 or MT5, they can use MetaTrader 4 (MT4) / MetaTrader 5 (MT5) Desktop Version and mobile apps.

Even after the Web Terminal service ends, account balance, open positions, and orders will not be lost. OANDA Japan clients can continue trading and settling trades from the desktop and app versions.

Chart settings (indicators, etc.) saved on the Web Terminal will not be transferred to other devices.

Please note that OANDA Japan will terminate the provision of MT4 at the close of trading on Friday, November 27, 2026. Customers currently using MT4 are encouraged to consider migrating to MT5 or switching to our proprietary tool, “fxTrade,” as soon as possible.
