OANDA Japan solves tech issues plaguing work of MT4 and fxTrade Web
Retail FX broker OANDA Japan today reported that it resolved the tech issues that plagued the normal operations of the MT4 platform and the web and mobile versions of the fxTrade platform.
In a brief announcement on its website, the broker confirmed that a problem with the display of thee order book on MT4 and fxTrade was detected on March 30, 2021. The normal service was restored in the morning of March 31, 2021, but as of 1:30 pm that day, the problem occurred again.
The department in charge took care of this matter, and earlier on April 1, 2021, OANDA Japan confirmed that the issue is solved and the platforms operate normally.
This is not the first time this functionality is experiencing tech issues. On December 14, 2020, the broker confirmed that the display of the order book on MT4/MT5 was not functioning. The company said that this had to do with a project related to increasing security. The problems were first reported around 7am (Tokyo time) that day and, seven hours later, about 14:15, the normal operations of the platforms were restored.
Speaking of the operations of the platforms offered by OANDA Japan, let’s note that on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 23:00 to 1:00, OANDA Japan will carry out system maintenance work for the NY server “MT4 demo account”.
The company apologizes for any inconvenience caused and appreciate traders’ understanding and cooperation.
