eToro adds new commodities to lineup of investment instruments
Online broker eToro is expanding its lineup of investment instruments via the addition of several new assets: three commodities, three Treasuries, and one index.
Three direct future contracts tracking the US treasuries:
- $2yUS
- $5yUS and
- $10yUS
The US fixed income market is the world’s biggest and most liquid, with over $50 trillion of outstanding bonds. Nearly half of these are US treasury securities.
Three new commodities:
- $LEAD
- $ZINC and
- $EuroOIL.
Finally, the Russell 2000 $RTY is now available. This bellwether of the US economy, which holds mid-cap stocks, allows exposure to US companies that represent the core activity of the US economy.
The broker regularly expands its menu of trading instruments. In August, for instance, eToro announced the addition of CFDs on stocks of 77 ASX-quoted companies. These are some of the biggest and most traded stocks from the ASX 200 index.
Earlier in August, the broker added eight Commodities to its investment platform, including Corn, Soybeans, Carbon Emissions, Gasoline, Heating Oil, Live Cattle, Lean Hogs, and Coffee Arabica.
