TradingView introduces TradingView MCP Server
TradingView is introducing the TradingView MCP Server: a direct, secure connection between TradingView accounts and the AI platform its customers’ already use.
Connect it once, and your assistant can pull quotes and price history, run the Screener, analyze fundamentals, news, filings, and calendars, and manage your watchlists and alerts — all from a single conversation.
The server works with any MCP-compatible client, such as Claude (web, desktop, mobile, and Claude Code), and is available now to all users on Essential or higher-tier plans. During the beta, TradingView may limit the number of requests per day.
Getting started takes about a minute:
- Copy this link: https://mcp.tradingview.com/mcp
- Open your AI assistant’s settings and add it as a custom connector. For example, in Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste the link there
- Sign in to TradingView and approve access
- Ask your first question
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools and data safely. TradingView provides the numbers, the news, and the actions — your assistant does the thinking. Nothing is scraped, nothing is guessed, and every answer is built on the same data you see on your charts.
For now TradingView provides a scoped version: tool list is limited, market data is delayed, and some MCP tools may not work as smoothly as expected. If you encounter any issues or limitations, please do share your feedback to shape what comes next and prioritize improvements.
