Saxo enhances User Admin tool in SaxoPartnerConnect
Multi-asset investment specialist Saxo Bank has updated the User Admin tool in SaxoPartnerConnect (SPC).
To ensure the User Admin tool aligns with compliance requirements, the following enhancements have been implemented.
Introduction of mandatory fields for user creation: To comply with regulatory standards, new mandatory fields have been added to the user creation process. These fields include gender, nationality, and date of birth.
Screening of Authorised Dealers: A new protocol has been established whereby all prospective Authorised Dealers will undergo a screening process prior to their creation and subsequent access to the platform. Consequently, the process of creating a new Authorised Dealer or converting an existing user to an Authorised Dealer will no longer be instantaneous. This measure is designed to enhance security and compliance by ensuring that only vetted individuals gain such access.
Enhanced request tracking for Admin Users: Admin Users now have the capability to monitor and track the status of nearly all requests initiated through the User Admin tool via a new interface called ‘My requests’.
However, it should be noted that certain types of requests are currently excluded from this tracking functionality. These exceptions include:
- Updates to Personally Identifiable Information (PII) for existing Authorised Dealers,
- The conversion of a back-office user to an Authorised Dealer, and
- The reactivation of a previously inactive Authorised Dealer.
