OANDA Japan to reduce margin requirements for XAG/USD

OANDA Japan Inc, a subsidiary of online broker OANDA Corporation, today announced upcoming changes to margin requirements for XAG/USD.

Effective Monday, June 22, 2026, the brokerage will reduce the margin requirement for XAG/USD from 20% to 10%.

As the minimum required margin will be halved, OANDA Japan clients will be allowed to trade XAG/USD with a smaller amount than before.

The change will affect the MT5 Tokyo server. The margin requirements for the pair on MT4 will remain unchanged.
