Cboe Silexx adds support for staging of FLEX option orders
Cboe has announced further enhancements to Cboe Silexx, a multi-asset order execution management system (OEMS) that caters to the professional marketplace.
In version 23.6, staging of FLEX option orders is supported in Silexx. Users can either stage a FLEX order manually within the user interface, or Silexx can integrate via FIX with a 3rd party system for a fully electronic two-way workflow.
Broker algo strategies can now be saved to use as order presets. You can choose to select from a list of favorite presets, or you can pin a specific preset as a default when choosing a particular algo route. To get started, select a route with algorithmic parameters enabled, fill out your desired parameters, and click ‘Save’.
Easy-to-Borrow and short locate integration is now available across all order entry tickets. This feature gives you the ability to quickly see if the equity you’re viewing is easy-to-borrow or hard-to-borrow. Not only that, but the locate ID will automatically populate within your order ticket for any easy to borrow security. Users must have an integrated ETB file configured with Silexx
Cboe regularly updates Silexx. Version 23.5 of Cboe Silexx enables its users to ditch the mouse for their keyboard with order action Hot Keys. Assign keys that will quickly place orders, cancel orders, or modify price and quantity within your order form with ease. To access, navigate to your File > Settings menu, then select Hot Keys.
Cboe is also further enhancing its recently released Bump Button toolbar. It has added a Price Lock feature for users who prefer to lock their tick increment to a specific value. To enable the bump button toolbar, click on the settings gear on your order ticket in the upper-right corner, then enable Show Order Modifiers.
Previous Close is now available to be added as a price benchmark within the Multi- Order and Quick Trade Tickets. To add this new field, right-click on your column header and select Show Column Chooser, then enable Prev Close.
