Global post-trading services provider Clearstream today announced a partnership with investRFP.com, a provider of request for proposal (RFP) solutions for qualitative fund assessments, asset manager selection and monitoring.

The RFP platform by investRFP.com is now offered by Clearstream Fund Services as part of its comprehensive suite of services for fund execution, distribution and data. Clients can access the infrastructure, including a fund research and selection tool, via the Clearstream Fund Centre platform.

The joint offering will enable fund distributors to make qualitative assessments and investment decisions more efficiently, ultimately benefitting both distributors and asset managers.

Requests for Proposal (RFP) in the fund industry are formal documents in which a request issuer solicits proposals from qualified providers to perform investment management or other services as part of a structured selection process. Currently, distributors are facing challenges conducting assessments of available investment funds within a specific investment strategy. The collaborative effort of Clearstream and investRFP.com will bring significant improvements to the RFP process used by fund distributors.

investRFP.com provides a digital front-to-back solution, facilitating a structured review by distributors of responses from asset managers. This functionality streamlines qualitative assessments, resulting in more informed investment decisions.
