A number of Retail FX brokers have recently beefed up their ESG investing efforts, which has become a theme of increasing importance across the financial world. We had previously reported that FCA regulated Plus500 appointed Anne Grim as a member of its Audit, Remuneration and ESG Committees at the board level. IG added former Colt CEO Rakesh Bhasin to its board and ESG effort. Last May IG Group hired Ben Hemington from Teach First as its ESG Manager.
Saxo Bank is controlled by China’s Geely Group.
