Another alum of Chicago based futures broker R.J. O’Brien, which was recently acquired by StoneX (NASDAQ:SNEX), has found a new home. FNG has learned that longtime RJO executive Melissa Zierk is joining the US arm of leading UK online broker IG Group (LON:IGG), as General Counsel, Head of Legal & Compliance.

Melissa Zierk was Managing Director, Global General Counsel at R.J. O’Brien, one of the largest US based futures brokers, for the past 13 years, serving as the top legal and compliance executive at the company. She was previously an attorney at Hogan Lovells (formerly Lovells LLP), and at Thacher Proffitt & Wood.

Melissa posted the following note on LinkedIn regarding her move to IG US.

Exciting news: today I started as General Counsel and Head of Legal & Compliance at IG North America and the 🍒 tasty family (tastytrade, tastyfx, and tastylive)!
