FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that digital asset exchange operator Crypto.com has hired Dubai based executive Maria Allott. With the title of Vice President – Head of Sales, Maria will assume responsibility for Crypto.com’s expanding list of financial products, primarily Predictions Markets, but also Real World Assets, and Tokenised Equities.

The hire comes after Crypto.com’s Prediction Markets head, Travis McGhee, left the company last month, as was also reported exclusively at the time here at FNG.

Maria Allott spent the past three years at rival crypto platform OKX, where she focused mainly on institutional sales, ending her tenure at OKX as Deputy Global Head and Head of Institutional Sales and Business Development (Europe/Middle East/LATAM), before leaving the company earlier this year. She has also previously worked at crypto exchange EXMO.com.

Maria posted the following note on social media regarding her move to Crypto.com

I’m thrilled to share that after a much-needed pause, I’ve joined Crypto.com Exchange as Vice President of Sales.
