FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that fast-growing Retail FX brokerage startup M4Markets has added another executive from Tickmill, hiring Nikolas Fragkos as Head Of Development.
Nikolas Fragkos joins M4Markets after two years as a senior web developer at Tickmill. He has also worked at marketing solutions firm 120 Advertising, which does a lot of work with the Retail FX sector companies in Cyprus, and at XM.com.
We had previously reported that M4Markets brought on board in recent months what amounted to the entire marketing team at Tickmill, including CMO Marilena Iakovou, digital marketing specialist Mariliza Karrera, and head of marketing projects Themis Christou. (Tickmill later brought on board former BDSwiss marketing head Nicholas Baumer as CMO).
At M4Markets, Nikolas Fragkos will be the lead architect, developer and oversee all development teams across the group, driving strategic direction of M4Market’s products.
Deepak Jassal, Executive Director at M4Markets said to FNG:
“M4Markets is delighted to welcome Nikolas Fragkos to the role of Head of Development. Nikolas is an accomplished professional and we are delighted to have him joining the M4Markets Group. Operating in one of the world’s fastest-growing markets with an increasing demand for innovative developments, Nikolas will help expand the technology infrastructure of the Group and contribute to the overall success of our business.”
M4Markets is formally domiciled in Seychelles and holds a financial services license from the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in the Seychelles. However the company is operated primarily from Cyprus, and we understand that M4Markets is in process of applying for licenses for its subsidiaries in both Cyprus and the UK. M4Markets was established by Deepak Jassal, formerly an investment banker with HSBC, KPMG and UBS, and by Theofanis Nakos, a fixed income sales specialist.
