LSEG grants award over shares to CFO Anna Manz
Anna Manz, Chief Financial Officer of London Stock Exchange Group plc (LSEG) was granted an award over shares in the company on 10 August 2021.
Consistent with the Company’s approved Remuneration Policy, and as set out in its announcement on 25 June 2020, the Company agreed to make the Award to compensate Ms Manz for the forfeiture of her pro-rata bonus award from Johnson Matthey for the financial year 2020/21.
This conditional Award comprises 2,900 shares with a face value of £226,374, representing 50% of the forfeited bonus, and will vest on 10 August 2024. The value of the forfeited bonus was confirmed by Johnson Matthey following publication of its 2020/21 annual results.
In addition, on 10 August 2021 David Schwimmer exercised a nil-cost option granted to him under the Company’s Long Term Incentive Plan 2014 and which vested on 9 August 2021. Mr Schwimmer subsequently sold a sufficient number of resulting Company shares to satisfy associated taxes, social security and dealing costs. The remaining shares are subject to the two-year holding period in accordance with the Remuneration Policy.
Anna Manz was appointed Group CFO in November 2020. Prior to this, Anna Manz was Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Johnson Matthey plc from 2016 to 2020, leading its Finance, Procurement and IT functions.
Before joining Johnson Matthey plc, she spent 17 years at Diageo plc in a number of senior finance roles, including most recently as Chief Strategy Officer and member of the Executive Committee, and previously Finance Director of Spirits North America, Group Treasurer and Finance Director Asia Pacific.
