Lisa Pollina to step down as Non-Exec Director of IG Group
The Board of electronic trading major IG Group Holdings plc (LON:IGG) has received notice from Lisa Pollina of her intention to step down as a Non-Executive Director of the company on 1 September 2021.
Lisa Pollina is currently an investment adviser to Ares Management and a Non-Executive Director of Munich RE representing the Americas. Prior to that, she served as Vice Chairman of RBC Capital Markets, the Royal Bank of Canada, and also served as the Global Financial Institution (FIG) Executive at Bank of America Securities with global responsibility across Asia, EMEA, Latin America, Canada and the United States.
She is an accomplished Board Director having served over the past 10 years on the publicly-traded and privately held corporate Boards including that of Two Harbors Investment Corp, The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Northwestern Mutual (POEC), and Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers, among others. She has chaired audit, risk, and finance and capital committees during her Board career.
Ms Pollina recently completed a seven-year service term on the Federal Reserve Bank of the United States’ Working Group on Financial Markets and currently serves as a Board member of the Atlantic Council of the United States.
Lisa Pollina has an MBA from the Yale School of Management, has taught strategy at Yale and corporate finance at the University of Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University.
