FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that a number of management changes are occurring at Cyprus based broker operator Trading Point Holding Limited, which operates the Trading.com and XM.com CFDs brokerage brands.
The main change will see longtime group executive Georgios Vasiliou leave the company. Georgios Vasiliou had been with the Trading Point group for more than 12 years, beginning as a Dealer at XM.com. Georgios ran the company’s CySEC licensed business, and also sat on the board of Trading.com Markets UK Limited, the group’s FCA licensed operation in London.
Trading Point owns the Trading.com and XM.com CFD brokerage brands which operate globally under various licenses granted in the EU (CySEC), UK (FCA), UAE (CMA), Australia (ASIC) and Mauritius (FSC). The company, founded in 2009, is controlled by Cypriot entrepreneur Constantinos Cleanthous, who recently acquired control of newspaper Phileleftheros and Ancoria Bank in his native Cyprus.
