Exclusive: OvalX exec Daniel Gladding joins eToro UK as Chief Risk Officer
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that yet another former executive from now-defunct online broker OvalX has found a new home, with OvalX’s Group Chief Risk Officer Daniel Gladding joining eToro UK as its new Chief Risk Officer.
Daniel Gladding had been with OvalX (then known as ETX Capital) since 2020, building out the risk function across the FCA and CySec regulated entities of the group, as well as managing a quant team based in Switzerland. Prior to ETX / OvalX Mr. Gladding was Head of Risk and the SMF3 Director for Admirals in the UK. He had also worked at Capital Index, Gain Capital, GFT Global and IG Group in various roles dating back to 2004.
OvalX was shut down by its controlling shareholder Jump Capital earlier this year, as was also exclusively reported here at FNG, with OvalX’s client base sold off to Capital.com.
