FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that US institutional broker and fintech provider Edgewater Markets is continuing its recent international expansion push and hiring spree, bringing on board James Wale in London as Sales Director.

James Wale joins Edgewater after spending the past year with liquidity provider B2Prime. James had joined B2Prime after nine years at iSAM Securities, where he was Head of Leveraged Sales EMEA. Prior to his time at iSAM, James had worked at CMC Markets, Varengold Bank, and FIXI plc.

New York based Edgewater has been making an international expansion (and hiring) push in 2026 in several regions, earlier this year hiring former Finalto CEO Matt Maloney to head Edgewater UK, and former CMC Markets’ institutional head Richard Elston, to help build out its UAE operation. Earlier this month Edgewater tapped MAS Markets APAC head Harry Fry to head its Australia operation.

The group also recently added former HFM Head of MENA Hazim Ismail, as Senior Director – Institutional Business Development in Dubai, and Tim Rudland as Head of Market Infrastructure in Dubai.
