FNG has learned that Richard Elston has joined EWMP Management Consulting, part of trade execution and liquidity solutions provider Edgewater Markets, in Dubai, as Edgewater looks to expand in the MENA region.

Richard Elston was with UK online broker CMC Markets (LON:CMCX) for more than 10 years, before leaving CMC late last year. At CMC, Richard served as Group Head of the company’s institutional business, CMC Connect, first from London and later based out of Dubai. Richard previously held senior roles at IG Group and at Saxo Bank UK.

I have joined EWMP Management Consulting (part of the Edgewater Markets Group) as Strategy Consultant to support the establishment of the Group’s Dubai operations.

The firm delivers tailored liquidity, advanced execution capabilities, and robust trading infrastructure across global markets, with ambitions for continued asset class growth.

The Dubai platform is expected to expand across commercial, operational and technology functions as the local entity progresses through CMA regulatory approval and transitions into a fully branded extension of the Edgewater Markets group.
