Edgewater hires Taurex exec Tim Rudland as Head of Market Infrastructure
US institutional broker and fintech provider Edgewater Markets is continuing its international – and specifically UAE – expansion push, adding online trading industry veteran Tim Rudland as Head of Market Infrastructure, for the group’s EWMP Management Consulting arm in Dubai.
Tim Rudland joins Edgewater after spending the past two years at online broker Taurex, where he was Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Tim has spent most of the past 20 years in the FX and CFDs sector, with previous roles including MultiBank where he was Chief Risk Officer (2023-2024), ThinkMarkets’ Liquidity.net (2021-2023) where he was Head of Institutional Trading, and FXCM Pro (2019-2021) where Tim was Vice President Institutional Sales. Other stops include at GKFX (now Trive), Alpari, and CMC Markets.
New York based Edgewater has been making an international expansion push in 2026, earlier this year hiring former Finalto CEO Matt Maloney to head Edgewater UK, and former CMC Markets’ institutional head Richard Elston, to help build out its UAE operation. The group also recently added former HFM Head of MENA Hazim Ismail, as Senior Director – Institutional Business Development in Dubai.
