CME Group fines, suspends three traders for NYMEX rule violations
International derivatives marketplace CME Group has issued notices of disciplinary action against Jin Joowon, Tatiana Borisenko, and Galina Krivopustova.
The three individuals violated NYMEX Rule 432.L.1.
- Jin Joowon failed to appear at a scheduled staff interview in connection with a disruptive trading investigation.
- Tatiana Borisenko failed to appear at a scheduled staff interview in connection with an investigation into noncompetitive trading activity.
- Galina Krivopustova failed to appear at a scheduled staff interview in connection with an investigation into noncompetitive trading activity.
All three individuals failed to submit a written answer to the charges issued against them and, hence, were deemed to have admitted the charges.
Based on the record and the Panel’s findings and conclusions, the Panel ordered Jin Joowon, Tatiana Borisenko, and Galina Krivopustova to each pay a fine in the amount of $50,000. They are also permanently suspended from direct access to any trading floor owned or controlled by CME Group and from direct or indirect access to any designated contract market, derivatives clearing organization, or swap execution facility owned or controlled by CME Group.
