FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that CFDs broker AvaTrade has hired experienced industry finance executive Jeremy Schlachter as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Based in Israel and Cyprus, Jeremy replaces Sari Hemmendinger in the CFO seat at AvaTrade.

Jeremy Schlachter joins AvaTrade after serving as CFO of NAGA Group for the past year. He was previously Group CFO of leading liquidity and fintech solutions provider Finalto (2020-2023). Jeremy has also spent time in the gaming sector, spending 12 years at Playtech (which used to own Finalto) including serving as Vice President of Finance. He has also been CFO of iGaming solutions provider Skywind Group.

AvaTrade, operated mainly from Israel and Ireland, does not hold a CySEC CIF license, but subsidiary AVA Trade EU Ltd is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland, allowing it to operate throughout the EU. AvaTrade recently hired Exness alum Nir Iter as Cyprus Business Unit Director, and seems to be expanding its operational footprint in Cyprus.
