Robinhood Ventures Fund II IPO roadshow to commence on August 3, 2026
The roadshow for Robinhood Ventures Fund II (RVII) will kick off on August 3, 2026 at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET.
On June 30, 2026, RVII publicly filed an initial registration statement on Form N-2 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to begin the process to register a public offering of its shares. Managed by Robinhood Ventures DE, LLC, RVII is a business development company (BDC), a type of closed-end fund regulated under the Investment Company Act of 1940.
RVII plans to invest in a diversified portfolio of early- and growth-stage private companies, with a focus on those that are current or previous participants in the Y Combinator startup accelerator program, or whose founder or co-founder participated in the Y Combinator program. RVII seeks to invest in promising companies across sectors that the adviser believes demonstrate significant growth potential.
The Form N-2 registration statement is subject to SEC review and the shares may not be sold until the registration statement is declared effective. Shares are expected to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol RVII.
The roadshow for RVII will kick off with a video presentation from Robinhood Markets CEO, Vlad Tenev, Robinhood Markets CFO, Shiv Verma, the Head of Robinhood Ventures and President of RVII, Sarah Pinto, and RVII Portfolio Manager, Rich Aberman.
Unlike typical roadshow presentations, which are usually reserved for institutional investors, this will be available to everyone and will provide a more detailed overview of the fund, its strategy, and what investors can expect.
Robinhood Ventures was first announced last September, and was created around the idea that access to private companies shaping our future shouldn’t be reserved for institutions or the wealthy.
