Robinhood UK adding Options trading (but not yet Crypto) in 2025
US based neobroker Robinhood (NASDAQ:HOOD) seems to have international expansion near the top of its priorities as we head into 2025.

Jordan Sinclair, President of Robinhood UK, indicated in a year-end interview with Yahoo Finance that the company was gearing up to add Options trading to its lineup for UK clients early in 2025. Robinhood UK officially opened its (virtual) doors in Q1-2024, and during the year added margin investing for its clients. In mid 2023 Jordan Sinclair joined Robinhood to head its UK business, after serving as Managing Director Europe for UK based neobroker Freetrade.
However Mr. Sinclair indicated that when it comes to Crypto trading – which Robinhood is well known for in the US and with which it focused when it launched in parallel in 2024 for customers in the EU – Robinhood is still “monitoring the situation”, with UK Crypto regulation still in flux.
The company had also recently indicated that following its successful launches in the UK and EU in 2024, Robinhood was now moving forward with expansion in Asia, out of new regional headquarters to be established in Singapore.
Robinhood is exiting 2024 with its share price near a multi-year high, with NASDAQ:HOOD (at $39.58 per share) sitting at more than 3x its level entering the year.
