OANDA Securities, the Japanese subsidiary of online broker OANDA Corporation, has informed its clients that it will soon start closing inactive accounts.

The brokerage has decided to close accounts with no transactions for more than two years and no balance.

An email has been sent to affected customers to their registered email address.

Please note that accounts for which deposits and transactions have been confirmed by November 17, 2023 15:00 will continue to operate as usual. If you wish to keep your account open, please make a payment by 15:00, November 17, 2023.

If OANDA cannot confirm that a deposit has been made to an account by the above deadline, it will proceed with the cancellation process sequentially from November 20th (Monday) onwards.

If you wish to re-register after canceling your subscription, please apply again as a new member.
