IG Securities, the Japanese subsidiary of online trading major IG Group, today issued a notice regarding the delisting of US stocks of Twitter.

The broker notes today’s announcement that the US stock of Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) will be delisted on October 28, 2022 (Friday) due to the acquisition of the social network.

As a result, October 27th (Thursday) will be the final trading day for these stock CFDs.

After October 28, 2022 (Friday), if you have a position in the relevant issue, you will not be able to settle it yourself. All pre-orders will also be deleted.

New orders and payment orders will be available during trading hours (Japan time: 17:00 to 9:00 the following day) on Thursday, October 27, 2022.

The unsettled positions will be settled at the acquisition price of US$54.2 per share after October 28, 2022 (Friday).
