IC rebrand will see icmarkets.com move to ic.com
Leading online broker IC has announced that effective this weekend its main website address url will shift from icmarkets.com, to ic.com.
The move is part of a rebranding – from IC Markets to just IC – which has been underway at the company over the past few months.
To minimize disruption, IC informed its traders that the migration will happen on this coming Saturday, July 11th, from 07.00 am GMT+3 until 11.00 am GMT+3 when many CFD markets are closed. Even so, during the process, which should be completed within the day, the website and platform may experience service interruptions. This process will not affect partners’ referral links or their functionality.
During the migration process, IC said clients should take appropriate measures to avoid unnecessary market exposure. If clients intend to keep positions open during this period, ensure that you have sufficient free margin to avoid potential margin stop-outs.
All services and access will be completely restored on the same day.
The Evolution of IC
IC Markets’ first transition to its new IC branding coincided with its partnership announcement with Haas F1 Team, late last year. The new IC logo was featured on the team’s livery and was included on the team’s VF-25’s cockpit headrests, front wing and halo. This new identity reflects IC’s expanding selection of CFDs, trading products, and tools.
IC said that although it is evolving, its mission remains unchanged: to provide traders with reliable CFD trading, the best possible conditions, an industry-leading level of transparency and sub-40 ms execution.
IC was founded in Australia in 2007, and is headed by founder Andrew Budzinski. The group also operates prop trading firm IC Funded, which went live earlier this year.
