FTX, IC Markets and IG are Australian derivatives dealers with most complaints in FY23
The Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) has updated the AFCA Datacube to show complaints data from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.
Among derivatives dealers, FTX Australia (currently in administration) tops the list with 65 complaints, followed by IC Markets with 32 complaints. Next in line is IG Australia with 16 complaints.
Among Forex dealers, OzForex got the most complaints (30 complaints), followed by HIFX Australia and Vantage Global Prime.
The AFCA Datacube is part of AFCA’s commitment to providing access to its data in a transparent and useful way to firms and consumers. It includes complaints data for financial firms with four or more complaints.
The data gives member firms a statistical understanding of how they compare within their industries. It can also help consumers and small businesses make informed choices when sourcing financial products and services.
Users can search the AFCA Datacube by firm name, or filter by type of firm, product, service or postcode. It includes data since AFCA’s inception on 1 November 2018.
