Admirals sets India 50 Index CFDs to close-only
Due to upcoming changes in the exchange, online broker Admirals will phase out India 50 Index Futures CFDs from its range of supported instruments on Trade.MT5 accounts.
Beginning March 1, 2022, India50_H2 instrument are switched to close-only trading mode and only the reduction of open positions are possible.
The last trading day for the India50_H2 is March 30, 2022, after which the instrument expires on Admirals’ platform and any remaining open positions will be closed. The broker will not be adding new instruments referencing India50 Index Futures after this.
Although there will be no equivalent product for India 50 Index Futures CFDs, there are other CFD products that may be also used to exercise investing strategies that require an exposure to business opportunities presented by India’s companies. The following alternative instruments are available on Admirals’ flagship Trade.MT5 accounts:
- iShares India 50 ETF CFD (platform symbol #INDY)
- iShares MSCI India ETF CFD (#INDA).
