The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) announces that, during its meeting held on 1 August 2023, it decided to remove IQOPTION EUROPE LTD from the Register of Crypto Asset Service Providers (CASPs).

The regulatory decision was made pursuant to section 61E(5)(b) of the Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Law of 2007, as amended, and article 7(1)(a) of Directive for the Register of Crypto Asset Service Providers.

IQOPTION EUROPE LTD has not provided services in the area of crypto-assets for a continuous period of six months.

Earlier this week, CySEC announced the deletion of Binance Cyprus Ltd from the CASP register. The decision also reflected the fact that the company had not provided services in the segment of cryptoassets for a continuous period of six months.
